Installing NineGate
One file, three operating systems. Around 5–10 minutes depending on your connection. There is nothing to prepare and nothing to paste — you sign in to your NineGate account the first time the app opens.
What gets installed is the NineGate application — opened from its icon like any other program, in its own window. Not a page in your browser.
What you need
- Your NineGate accountThe one you signed up with. The app opens your browser to sign in on first launch — no key to copy, and nothing to type into the installer. Open the portal
- An internet connection and about 2 GB freeMost of the installation time is spent downloading.
Download and install
Your operating system is detected and offered first. If the guess is wrong — you might be reading this on a phone to install on a laptop — pick the right one underneath.
Signing in
The installer never asks you for anything. It downloads, installs, and finishes. The first time you open NineGate it sends you to your browser to sign in to the account you already have — the same way you signed in to this site.
There is no key to copy and nothing to paste into a setup window. API keys exist only for people wiring their subscription into their own applications, and are created from the portal when you want one.
After it is installed
NineGate is installed and ready to use. Further setup — connecting Google Workspace, choosing whether to control it from WhatsApp or Telegram, configuring connectors and skills — happens inside the NineGate application, not in the installer.
All of it is optional. NineGate works fully without linking any Google account, and you can link or unlink one at any time.
If something fails
The download stops partway
Run the same file again. The installer continues from where it stopped rather than starting over.
The key is rejected
Check it was copied whole from the portal (it starts with ng_live_), and that your plan is still active on the Plans & Billing page.
Python is missing or the wrong version
Install Python 3.12 from python.org, then run the installer again. Version 3.14 is not supported yet.
Still failing
Send the file ~/.atlas/setup.log to admin@dritech.co.id — it contains a record of the installation steps, not your personal data.
